Responsible Gaming

KashGames is built for skill, competition, and fun — not for chasing losses. This page explains the tools, limits, and support available so gaming stays a positive part of your life.

18+ Only

Play within your means, always 18+

MatchKash and PoolKash are skill-based competitions with real money on the line, so we want every player competing for the right reasons — enjoyment and fair competition, not chasing losses. Accounts are limited to verified players aged 18 and over; we check identity during onboarding and may ask again at any time. If you believe someone under 18 is using the Platform, please report it using the contact details below.

When gaming stops being fun

Most players compete casually and stay well within their limits. For a few, gaming can become harder to control. Watch for these signs in yourself or someone close to you:

  • Spending more time or money on matches than you planned to
  • Chasing losses by depositing again to "win it back"
  • Borrowing money, or using rent, bill, or family money to play
  • Hiding your play, deposits, or losses from people close to you
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or low when you're not playing
  • Neglecting work, school, sleep, or relationships because of gaming

A few habits worth building

We don't yet offer automated in-app deposit limits or self-exclusion controls — that's on our roadmap. In the meantime, here's what we recommend to every player:

  • Set a budget before you play — decide what you're willing to spend that day or week, and stop there regardless of how a session goes.
  • Set a time limit too — competitive play can run long; decide upfront how much time you'll give it.
  • Treat losses as final — depositing more to chase a loss is the single biggest driver of harm. If you catch yourself doing this, stop for the day.
  • Take a break if you need one — contact support any time to pause your account for a cooling-off period, or to close it altogether. We'll act on it promptly.

You don't have to handle it alone

If gaming is affecting your finances, relationships, or wellbeing, free and confidential help is available in Kenya. We recommend reaching out to a national helpline or a specialist support service — for example, a Kenya Red Cross helpline, or an organization focused specifically on gambling-related harm — both of which can offer confidential counselling and point you toward further support. These are independent, third-party services, not operated by KashGames.
